The HEDNA Award of Excellence honors an individual or company that has made remarkable contributions toward the advancement of hotel electronic distribution, mainly, though not exclusively, through their activities within HEDNA. The annual recipient is selected by HEDNA's Board of Directors and recognized at the North American conference.
Nominees must be, or have been, active in HEDNA for several years. Current Board members and past recipients are not eligible.

2018 HEDNA Award of Excellence Winner
The recipient of HEDNA's 2018 Award of Excellence is Nancy Little, Director of Partner Connectivity at InterContinental Hotel Group.
Nancy has dedicated her entire career to working within the travel industry in various roles. Nancy began her hospitality career at Eastern Airlines before joining System One as an implementation specialist. She has spent over 20 years at InterContinental Hotel Group advancing the company’s distribution and connectivity strategy. During her tenure at IHG, Nancy has been responsible for design, development and implementation of products and processes to automate distribution in all market segments across the industry and channels.
Nancy has been an active member in HEDNA and other organizations within the travel industry during her career at IHG. She has chaired and served on several HEDNA committees offering her expertise and guidance on driving the industry to the next stage in its evolution. She was most notably active in the Tour/Wholesale committee leading the group to publish a tour connectivity whitepaper. She served on the HEDNA Board of Directors for 4 years.
Nancy will leave a legacy as one of the greatest contributors of distribution automation and its evolution during her tenure with HEDNA. She exemplifies through collaboration that positive growth is achievable within the electronic distribution industry while keeping it interesting. Nancy’s cheerful southern charm has made her a friend for life and well-respected colleague to each and every one she meets.
