Over the years, HEDNA's Forums and Working Groups have both collected and developed a variety of resources to aid the membership in addressing industry issues. Additionally, HEDNA seeks to offer members tools for their professional development via resources like past conference materials and Virtual Round Table recordings. Virtual Round Table Recordings

HEDNA conducts Virtual Round Table Webinars throughout the year to give members an opportunity to hear from key decision makers and technology innovators from all facets of the hotel electronic distribution industry. Past Virtual Round Table topics include Mobile Technology, Reputation Management and Multilingual Globalization. HEDNA members can download recordings of all previous webinars by logging in to the Members Only site.

Forum Meeting Notes

HEDNA members are encouraged to contribute their voice to industry discussions by participating in the Forums. Notes from previous Forum meetings and calls are available on the Members Only website to keep members informed of Forum activities and help them to have a smooth transition as they become involved. ADA Working Group Resources

In 2012, HEDNA's ADA Working Group (organized under the Standards Forum) prepared several informative documents to help guide members through the changes to Americans with Disability Act (ADA) regulations for the hospitality industry, including an overview of the new ADA mandates; suggestions from the working group on what hotels should be doing now; a list of information resources; and a list of specific areas within a property or distribution system which will be affected by the new provisions. Also included are the full ADA Title III Regulations and the new rules specific to lodging reservations. Log in to the Members Only site to download the documents.

 

Available GDS Hotel Chain Code Matrix 

This matrix identifies the 2-character hotel chain identity codes that are believed by HEDNA to currently be available in all four of the major Global Distribution Systems (Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre, and Worldspan) for use by hotel brands. CVV Working Group Resources

The CVV Working Group (organized under the Payment Technologies Forum) developed some materials, to assist members with handling the issue of no-show or cancellation payments without the CVV. This includes: procedure and reference guides from credit card companies; a form you can submit to help the forum better understand the challenges HEDNA members are facing with the CVV issue; and a document featuring contact information for several card companies to contact if you have questions about processing a payment without the CVV.
