Ideas for marketing HEDNA.org
- Tie it back to HEDNA but be a tool/ resource
- University Hospitality Departments
- Association Links, Industry links from major US Tourism organizations, CVBs' promotional boards, TIAA, etc.
- Inserts in the welcome pack explaining the value
- Ads in trade mags
- Industry Calendars

- Get additional sponsorships and offer a calendar of industry wide events including provided by HEDNA.org
- European awareness at shows like EMA World travel mart, ITB (biggest), EuroTec
- EMA College courses - Need to know about HEDNA, professors, students
- Asia awareness: knowledge, travel agents exchanges, seminars for suppliers too, distribution sessions, (top level teaser working on that), forums,
- Success quotes, testimonials,
- Pictures of industry leaders we know as members in collatoral, and photos,
- Promote it publicly at HEDNA conferences like on day 1 during group sessions, promoted by board members
- PR pieces after HEDNA should mention the web site along with the results of the conference
- Invite media to the conferences, listening, give is a front or side position for article (knowledge of handling media needed) or like the Tech showcase could be open to media first before membership
- Online Discussion groups provided by HSA should use high profile persons to promote HEDNA. HSA has the technology to do this kind of topic discussions on line. (see below too)
