2 Future topics All agreed that future topics should be consumer driven (topics that are on the consumers' minds take precedence)
3 Recap of "Single-Image" session Members agreed that topic was relevant and for the most part, content was applicable to their business. Panel members represented a wide array of the industry and the discussion covered the "Single-image" subject from many angles. Certain panel members may have crossed the line by taking using his/her speaking opportunity to promote their own product rather than addressing the issue on hand.
4 Reading Materials to generate ideas for future meetings Shared ideas of relevant, industry media to keep abreast of the market (electronic technology). Some suggested materials for reading include Hotelmarketing.com, Hotel Business, Biztravel.com, eyefortravel.com, Travelweekly.com, Hotelnews.com, ehotelier, Hotel online news.
5 Initial ideas from the committee members Suggestions for the next Hedna meeting-Emerging Technology session include Software for managing multiple extranets, optimal online marketing tools, net-merchant model programs, multi-media travel shops, website trends tracking, and wireless application protocol (WAP)
6 Method of communication Members agreed that future ideas, suggestions, and comments can best be communicated via Hedna.org extranet site. We may even want to further enhance the site by creating a library of sort in the Hedna website
7 Future session format To open minds and encourage participation, we are proposing a debate format between suppliers and vendors
